YB series Self Priming rotary vane pump with internal bypass valve. The pumpsuse a rotor with sliding vanes to draw the liquid. Thematerial of construction is nodular iron, with sliding vanesmade of a special self-lubricating material. Due to itshigh efficiency, the pumps can handle both viscous and volatileliquids, and require less horsepower than other equivalentpumps. The pumps are capable of higher flow rates atlower rotational speeds than other designs.
