The centrifugal and side channel multistage pump, having a horizontal configuration, is available in 6-stage and 8-stage designs. It features shaft sealing via a mechanical seal that requires no cooling.
This pump is designed for handling LPG (liquid gas) and other liquids that involve high differential pressure, low NPSH conditions, and aerated liquids containing up to 50% gas, such as when pumping from tanks. A pre-compression turbine at the suction end enables it to achieve an extremely low required NPSH, allowing the pump to operate under very difficult suction conditions.
