Fitting is the industry’s first lightweight die-cast aluminum fitting. It replaces all traditional plastic and aluminum fitting types: groove-to-groove, groove-to-flat and flat-to-flat. Boasting a revolutionary one-piece design, it features eight S-shaped clamping points that firmly grip the pipeline when pressure build-up causes the pipeline to attempt separation. The higher the pressure, the stronger the clamping force, regardless of the pipeline type. The metal S-shaped clamp design also delivers a continuous pipe-to-pipe grounding connection – no grounding straps or wires need to be attached to the connected pipelines. The one-piece fitting can clamp both flat and grooved pipes without the need for grooving on pipes or tees, thus reducing part costs. This connector is available with two gasket configurations: split type or one-piece type, and two locking methods: composite cam handle or bolted T-handle. It comes in 3-inch and 4-inch sizes. Its unique hinge design perfectly conforms to the curvature of the gasket and fits tightly against the inner side of the main body, effectively preventing gasket extrusion – a common pain point in conventional connector designs. The split gasket of this connector ensures a reliable seal after each installation, eliminating the hassle of repeated gasket assembly and disassembly. During installation, the snap fastener secures the gasket firmly in place for an airtight seal. The gasket material is infused with FDA-approved lubricant, eliminating the need for additional lubrication. A unique safety pin and lock prevent accidental opening of the connector under pressure, while polymer bushings at all pivot points guard against friction and seizing. Cleaning time and costs are now drastically reduced: simply align the pipeline and slide it quickly and easily into the DESEINOR one-piece connector.
